What are Add ons?

“Add ons” are simply a different variety of the Fancy Rat (Coat Type, Eye Color, Ear Type, Coat Color & Variety). 

For the most part, Add ons are $5. Some recessive gene add ons may cost $10+ as they take longer to create and or uncommon in Philadelphia, PA, which means a higher demand for those rats. At the moment, I am the ONLY rat breeder within an hour of Philadelphia. If you have any questions about pricing, ask away! I can not give you a set price until you pick out your rats at 6+ weeks.

Base prices are also for retired rats for any variety 9 months and older.

NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT REQUIRED TO ADOPT!

Deposit is based on how many rats you are getting. It is simply to hold your spot for your preferred sex of rat & to ensure no ones time was wasted. Pickings happen in the order of deposit sent. The remaining amount will be paid at pickup. I rarely have rats available on the spot. I do not breed for demand/pet owners, I breed to better my lines. Deposits can only be sent through CashApp or Apple Pay. (MUST sign application & get approved before sending a deposit. Click here to find our application.) The deposit guarantees that your place is secure but also to ensure my time was not wasted if you back out. I DO NOT support the use of paper bedding/fleece bedding for the safety of my rats health. My adopter's must use suitable bedding, my rodents health will always come first. It has no ammonia control, rats need at least 3-4 inches of bedding. They are fossorial animals & thrive best in that setting. Recommended bedding; Pine, Aspen, Hemp or Bioactive

PICKINGS HAPPENS AFTER TEMPERAMENT TESTING AT 6-8 WEEKS IN ORDER OF DEPOSIT :).

MUST pickup within 14 days after setting a pick up day on rats 6+ weeks, after 2 weeks a $10 is required a week (separate from adoption fee). If you are no longer able to pick up after another 7 days, those rats will be back up for adoption. I have 20-100 rodents in my Rattery at a time & go through food/bedding much quicker than I normally do when I have litters. Keep in mind, I run my rattery by myself, have a job, I transport/fly animals, have a handful of people waiting for rats, keeping up with updating you guys & have plenty of other animals to care for other than my rats. My time is very valued, and so is yours. ​Use it wisely!
